So I know I can't be the only person that has seen the Gucci loafers?
Well I saw my first pair on Sammi Jefcoate's Instagram (@sammijefcoate) and I soon became obsessed. She has been rocking a pair of slip on silver Gucci loafers since the start of summer and I just know I needed a pair in my life until I saw that they are selling for around £400+! So you know me, I had to get online and do my typical searching for a dupe, an affordable dupe!
I settled with a pair from Topshop called the Karter loafer in silver because I thought I would spice up my shoe wardrobe with a bit of metallic, Plus after seeing Sammi rock a silver loafer I just needed to give it a go myself, plus I don't think I've ever owned an metallic shoe before! In all honestly I think these are the most comfy shoe I've ever purchased. I did go down a size after reading the reviews so I picked myself up a UK size 2, thank goodness that Topshop even stocks a size 2! £62 well spent? I believe so. I know their not the cheapest loafers going at the moment but I wanted something that would last me. These are made out of the most buttery leather, so it after a couple of wears they have moulded to my feet nicely.

Since buying my Topshop loafers they have released loads of other colour options but also another style called Kendall with has a round toe which is more like the Gucci's, these are a little cheaper going for £52.
I have noticed that loads of other companies have realised their own versions, such as Office and Asos. If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen my dramas of buying and receiving the trashed loafers from Asos, if you want to see images of what I got send click here.

I think the loafer trend will be sticking around for a while now and I seriously hope it does! Finally a shoe trend that is wearable for everyday use and can be styled with pretty much everything, Have you bought a pair of loafers yet or thinking to do so? I would love to know!
Much Love
